Adobe and Fontself Release Free Color Fonts

Posted on 12th Nov 2017

Adobe has announced a collaboration with Fontself to highlight the possibilities of color fonts for the creative community. Each day this week, Adobe and Fontself are celebrating #ColorFontWeek by releasing free new color fonts available for download via the Adobe Creative Cloud Blog. These new color fonts inspired by geometry, nature, textiles and architecture were created by five global artists from countries including Germany, Argentina, Denmark and the United States. OpenType-SVG Color fonts is a new type technology developed by Adobe and its partners. With Color Fonts, users can now create projects in Adobe Illustrator that use fonts with characteristics like colors, transparencies and gradients, which are not available in traditional fonts.
